CERAMICS MASTER CLASS by FIDAN

OVERVIEW

Learn new ceramics skills under the guidance of locally-renowned ceramics artist, Fidan Humbatli. In this 2-hour practical workshop, Fidan will introduce you to her work and practice, sharing her thought process of developing a design. Using specially prepared clay, you’ll then have the chance to create your own tonal vessel inspired by Fidan’s work. We use coil pottery technique to hand build a unique finished piece of ceramics. Glazed and fired products could only be picked after two weeks.

This is a private fine dining experience at a locals’ home who have been dedicated themselves to unique culinary lifestyle. WHAT TO EXPECT?

Meet your local guide/chef in front of Icharisheher metro station, a central location in Baku. Then, your guide/chef will take you to a small fitted kitchen showroom. Get introduced to Chef’s kitchen over cup of tea and conversation about the culinary projects and support to local producers and food communities. Then, the chef prepares the dishes but also show you how to prepare and cook the dishes with the story of historical and social background meanwhile taste and dine the food that is made and served on the set table in the process. Cooking Class at Family Home is a private cooking class that allows you to learn how to do shopping at a local bazaar and prepare and cook a local Azerbaijani dish.
